Spring blooms in Michigan! Episode 2004: A snapshot of flora as new lifesprouts after a long, dreary winter. Time delayed: this is from May 2004.

Connecting the dots between the earth and the clouds. Old trees getting a new lease on life after the winter

The road less traveled by- As Robert Frost might say! Read his famous poem "The Road Not Taken" at http://www.poets.org/poems/poems.cfm?prmID=1645

Fine medley of colors

Calm, albeit colorful reflections in a brook

A coin-sized bloom sticking out of the grass

Blue skies + White blooms = glorious days

the drama goes on...

Blooms in the undergrowth

zooming in... doesn't it look like a miniature Hibiscus?

Don't mistake this for a digitally manipulated photo! Its nature at its best; flowers covering the bare trees even before fresh leaves have begun to sprout!

up-close -- This is what I meant!

Elsewhere in the woods, we have BLUE!

WHITE!

RED!

VIOLET!

PINK!

PURPLE!

And a lone Tulip!
